Stainless steel screw kit for
LX200-GPS, LX200, LX10, LX50 and LX90 OTA
Dew and other moisture can rust the black screws in the rings of
your optical tube assembly in less than a year. Take a look at yours!
Replace them before they turn into little lumps-o-rust that are very
difficult to remove. These are stainless steel (silver color) replacements.
The kits for the 8" & 10" replace the screws that ring the OTA front and
rear castings, with two extra screws that are 1/4" longer for mounting
accessories. Also includes the small screws that attach the fork arm
and center covers and even the finder mount stop screw. Two allen
wrenches are included.
The kits for the 12" replace the big and small screws on the front and
rear castings, and the 4 accessory mounting screws on the blue tube.
Also includes the small screws that attach the fork arm and center
covers. Three allen wrenches are included with the 12" kit.
The kits for the LX200-GPS scopes also contain the screws for the
battery compartment covers and the underside fork covers.
Not included in the kits are replacements for the screws that attach
the plates to the sides of the tube, as those screws hold a critical
alignment and must not be removed.
