Dual Scope Mounting Dovetail with Saddles for
Orion/Synta/Vixen Type Mounts With 1.7" Base Width
Two scopes can be mounted side-by-side on a GEM using this
sturdy dovetail with two saddles. Each saddle can be mounted
in two positions and two orientations on the ends of the dovetail
bar, for spacings between the dual scopes of 9.4", 8.2", 7.3" or 6".
All machined aluminum construction, anodized, with stainless
steel hardware. Dovetail locking screws are round tipped brass
and have big knurled aluminum knobs. Dovetail bar also has
several threaded and unthreaded holes.
Weighs 1.9 lbs, dovetail bar is 11" long. Overall length as pictured
is 13", in the 8.2" configuration. Dovetail bar and saddles fit Orion/
Synta/Vixen type mounts with 1.7" base width. Dovetail saddles
are available separately as
#DS13.
