Astrozap Dob/Newt Light Shields
These shields attach with a strap and velcro closure, and shield
the eyepiece field lens from stray light. Dob UTA's and tubes
often don't extend far beyond the focuser and let stray light
get into the bottom of the eyepiece. Not good! Full dew shields
aren't needed on a dob, but a light shield can increase contrast
by blocking ambient light entering the back of the focuser.
Durable ABS with flat black felt on the inside, non-slip band
and sturdy strap with heavy duty velcro closure, quality sewn
construction like Astrozap flexible dew shields. Fits over tube
edge band, screw heads, etc.
